What happens when I "trash" a photo?

Nothing. Slidebox simply marks those photos as "trashed" within the app and you no longer see them within Slidebox. Nothing happens to those photos outside of Slidebox.

What happens when I delete "trashed" photos?

They are deleted from your iCloud Library on all your devices. However, you have 30 days to recover them.

How can I recover photos that I deleted?

Photos you deleted are kept in "Recently Deleted" album in your Photo Library for 30 days. Open Photos app and go to "Recently Deleted" album to recover them.

What happens when I create an album in Slidebox?

A corresponding iOS album will be created in your iPhone's Photo Library (optional). Any photos added or removed from this album will be reflected in the iOS album. If you do not want to create an iOS album, you can simply uncheck this option when creating an album.

What's the difference between Slidebox albums and iOS albums in Photos Library?

When you create an album in Slidebox, you have an option to create a corresponding iOS album so you can access this album from your iPhone's Photo Library. Any photos added or removed to/from Slidebox album will be reflected in the corresponding iOS album.

What happens when I delete an album from Slidebox?

All photos in the album will be put into trash. The corresponding iOS album (if any) will be deleted from your iPhone's Photo Library.

How does Slidebox handle photos in my iCloud?

Slidebox shows you photos from both your iPhone and iCloud Photo Library. They are treated exactly the same.

What happens when I send an album?

Slidebox will create a unique link to your album and send the photos to the link. Once the link is generated, you will be prompted to to write the email/text using your native email/text client. The email/text sent are private and Slidebox does not get any information about the recipient, your email address or phone number.

Are my photos sent safely?

Privacy of your photos are very important to us. Here's what we do to ensure your photos are sent safely

• Secure transfering of the photos: Photos are transfered over secure socket layer (SSL)
• Encryption of photos: Photos are encrypted with AES-256 to prevent hackers from viewing the content of the photos

How can the recipients see the album?

They can click the album link and view the album directly on their browser without having to download Slidebox. They can download individual photos at full resolution.

What happens if I delete the album?

Once you delete the album, the links you sent will stop working.

Do I have to pay for Slidebox?

No.

Do I need an account to use Slidebox?

No.

Can Slidebox see my photos?

No. Slidebox displays your photos within your device only and does not access them anywhere else. We believe your photos are simply your business.

Will Slidebox ever charge me money?

No. The features we provide in the current release for organizing your photos will always be free. We may release premium features in the future that may require payment. We will make it obvious and explicit when we release premium features.
